This technical conference is a benchmark in the sector producing crops for extensive farming in Catalonia.
Over two hundred farmers and technicians have participated in the 17th edition of the conference focused on arable farming.
Diplomas were presented on Wednesday 14 March to the 25 students who passed the Management of an Agricultural Company in the Cooperative World course, organised by the ActelGrup cooperative and the University of Lleida.
The president of ActelGrup, Josep Maria Codina, and the rector of the UdL, Roberto Fernández, signed a collaboration agreement of four years to carry out training activities for members.
This agreement will enable increasing the training that will be offered to ActelGrup members offering different types of regulated training in the field of agriculture, from different aspects such as agronomic, economic and social.
ActelGrup presents its stand at Fruit Logística, the leading monographic trade fair for the global fruit and vegetable trade, held in Berlin, with more than 3,100 exhibitors from more than 80 countries.
The commercial team of ActelGrup, together with its CEO Fernando Chocarro, has presented its new commercial catalog to customers and professionals related to the fruit sector from around the world.
The event was held with the aim of presenting the new features in contracting agricultural insurance (Agroseguro) for this campaign at the auditorium of the Diputació de Lleida.
The event were attended by Anna Clivillé, head of agricultural insurance broker Central d’Assegurances d’ActelGrup; Xavier Joana, Agroseguro territorial director of Catalonia; Juan Cruzán, head of the area of Agroseguro-Aragón, and Félix Novoa, director of the technical area of Agroseguro.
On 27 October, at the Lleida Conference Centre-La Llotja, the Ordinary General Meeting of ActelGrup was held with the purpose of presenting and approving the balance sheet for the financial year 2016-2017 and presenting the company’s Strategic Plan.
Representatives of the 122 partner cooperatives, ActelGrup’s staff and the authorities were present at the meeting.
The aim of the stand at this fair was to pay tribute to our members, represented by 35 of its chairmen and chairwomen, as well as to illustrate the size and positioning of our second tier cooperative with a giant map showing the locations of the co-ops that form part of ActelGrup and TransAlfals & La Vispesa.
As each year, the members and the general public were able to view products from our various segments and sample them.
